Join us for an exclusive session for Space 2 Be families at Tonbridge Swimming Pool.
Space 2 Be Me Staff will be there to greet you at 4.15pm ready for you to change and go into the pool for our 4.30pm to 5.30pm slot for our exclusive swimming slot. Please note we have not hired the Inflatable assault course and the outdoor pool is not available to us at this time of day.
This is a Family Event which means that children will be your responsibility at all times. Our staff will be on hand at the poolside if you need any help and to oversee the event.
All children must be accompanied in the pool by adults at all times. The usual adult-child ratios apply for Tonbridge Pool as follows:
- Children 0-4 years needs to be with a responsible person over the age of 16 on a 1:1 ratio or 1:2 if any child under 4 is wearing a suitable buoyancy aid (armbands or a float suit).
- Children aged 4-7 years needs to be with a responsible person over the age of 16 on a 1:2 ratio unless they have passed the pool’s Competent to Swim Test in which case the ratios are not relevant; an adult must still be with them.
- Children aged 8-9 years needs to be with a responsible person over the age of 16 on a 1:2 ratio unless they have passed the pool’s Competent to Swim Test in which case the ratios are not relevant; If they have passed the test they do not need to be accompanied,
- Children over 10 do not need to be accompanied by the pools rules however Space 2 Be Me require you to be with your children at all times.

Is there a cost?
Space 2 Be Me Members: £3.00 per child (Under 18’s) and £2.50 per parent/carer.
Concession rates are available for those on income-related benefits (proof will be required).
Things to note
- All children must be accompanied in the pool. The usual adult-child ratios apply for Tonbridge Pool as outlined above and the competency test will apply. The link to the details will be on the booking form so please make sure that you read and agree to these terms when booking.
- Please make sure you book all attendees – both adults and children
- Please note: children remain the responsibility of their parent carers at all times.
