Clubs at Space 2 Be Me Vacancies
- In Maidstone, we have fortnightly term time clubs – Rockets (6-10), Comets (11-13) and Galaxy (14-18); In Tonbridge we have fortnightly term time clubs – Starships (7-11), Asteroid (11-14) and Cosmic Club (14-17); In Tunbridge Wells we have fortnightly term time clubs – Lunar Club (6-11), Nebula Club (12-17) and Universe (18-25)
- We run clubs for young adults with additional needs between the ages of 18 and 25 in Maidstone, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells on a fortnightly basis in term time.
- We have a weekly Dance Stars club in Maidstone for all ages on Mondays.
- We run a Saturday morning under 6’s stay-and-play sessions in Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge called SAMs club, which tends to be an entry level opportunity for parents to find out more about us and bring their families along to meet others, allowing their children to play in a safe and non-judgemental space.
- In school holidays we run Space 2 Be Me Times holiday club sessions and family events for al the family in Maidstone, Tonbridge and in Tunbridge Wells
- We support families through one to one clinics and wrap around support, drop in and coffee mornings and training workshops.
Sessional Workers – Maidstone, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells
Could you be the person we need? Space 2 Be Me has several vacancies for people wishing to support children and young adults (0-25) who have additional needs in the Maidstone, Tonbridge & Malling and Tunbridge Wells area in our regular clubs, particularly on Wednesdays and Fridays.
We run a range of clubs and holiday activities for children, which are supported by sessional staff. We need more enthusiastic staff members to help support our young members in all three areas.
All applicants must be at least 16 years of age, able to use initiative, possess or be willing to complete a DBS check and Safeguarding training. Ideally you will have had experience of living or working with children with a disability, but this is not essential.

Dance Stars Coordinator, Maidstone
We are seeking someone to coordinate, lead and deliver our Dance Stars classes for children with additional needs. The post is to work 5 hours every other week on Mondays after school. You will be supported by two other staff. But we are hoping to bring the club back to weekly sessions soon.
This role can be combined with others advertised or sessional work for the right person.
