Sam’s (children 0 to 5) – Maidstone

A Saturday morning stay and play club for families with children with additional needs aged 6 years and under.

SAMS has been unable to meet face to face but hopes to return soon. In the meantime we invite families to join our closed Facebook Group specifically for this club where we post activities regularly on Facebook, some shared by our members. We will carry on sharing resources in the group until will can all meet in person, and we are also aiming to introduce some virtual parent’s coffee mornings/evenings for those who wish to speak to staff and chat with other parents – please email if you would be interested in these.

Please email or if you have a child with additional needs under 6 and you would like to chat or discuss activities.

Thank you to Comic Relief for supporting this club.

Under normal circumstances, we run two Sam’s clubs, one in Tonbridge, and this one in Maidstone.

The club runs from 10am to 12 noon.

We hope to provide a no pressure, small group environment where you can meet other parents of children with additional needs.

Experienced staff are available to help support you and your children at the sessions. We follow a loose structure at each session, led by the children. Often there is a craft activity, sensory play and there is always a snack available for the children.

It is not essential to book onto a session, you can just come along, but it does help our planning if we know you are thinking of attending. You can email to let us know you are coming along.
